PEDIATRIC AUDIOLOGIST

  

We are a growing ENT practice in Alpharetta, GA currently seeking a Pediatric Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and have the ability to effectively counsel while building patient rapport. We treat pediatric patients of all ages and special needs. We are looking to grow the practice both diagnostically as well as more hearing aids. Some exposure with Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, Conditioned Play Audiometry with the Pediatric population is preferred.

 

  

Daily tasks and responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with, and gather history from patients and parents; conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids as needed.
  • Great compassionate counseling skills.
  • Program hearing aids using a computer.
  • Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.
  • Maintain documentation and patient files.
  • Other duties could involve bringing on ABR testing within the practice.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Audiology but Au.D. is preferred.
  • Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.

 

The successful Audiologist will also possess the following:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • The ability to interact professionally always with patients/family members, physicians, and team members.
  • Willingness to evolve and bring on innovative ideas – testing/hearing aids for the practice.
