We are offering a very unique opportunity to the right candidate. We are Denver’s longest established independently owned community pharmacy and we are looking to add hearing services to our business. We are deeply entrenched in our community and have a wonderful group of patients and customers who rely on us for a level of service that has been mostly lost in pharmacy today. The right HIS candidate will help us leverage our database of pharmacy customers into successful hearing aid sales. This is an opportunity to help us grow this department from the beginning and the right candidate will be given autonomy and ability to help shape all aspects of the hearing department. The ideal candidate must be licensed in CO.


Daily tasks and responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with, and gather history from, patients; conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids.
  • Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
  • Program hearing aids using a computer.
  • Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems.
  • Maintain documentation and patient files.



  • Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.


The successful Hearing Instrument Specialist will also possess the following:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members.
