Field Training Manager


The Field Training Manager will work closely with the Director of Training and Development to plan, develop and execute a comprehensive Field Training Program to provide product, sales and operational knowledge to AHAA’s national sales force.   This role is primarily a Train-the Trainer role.  This position is ideal for someone who has been a successful field sales trainer or has extensive franchise operations experience.



    • Responsible for training all members of AHAA’s sales force on product knowledge, implementation and execution of all AHAA services.
    • Builds strong working relationships with AHAA account managers and Divisional VP’s based on trust and mutual accountability to help drive results.
    • Is accountable for working shoulder-to-shoulder with Account Managers to improve the implementation and execution of the AHAA WAY and to deliver both short and long-term business results.
    • Utilizes a systematic coaching process to observe and provide feedback to drive performance.
    • Chooses the appropriate consulting approach (e.g., directive, supportive, coaching, collaborative) based on the situation and existing relationships.
    • Establish visitation cycles to systematically coach and train all AHAA Account Managers nationwide.
    • Responsible for participating in the execution of AHAA’s new hire sales training including; competitive selling, customer engagement, and product knowledge.
    • This position reports to the Director, Training & Development, and works closely with all field personnel and management.





        • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
        • Four or more years of relevant experience.
        • Proven results of ability to drive growth through the training and accountability of others.
        • Strong ability to teach and influence without direct authority. Advanced consulting experience required to persuade and influence behavior.
        • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) needed to convey clear direction and expectations to achieve results to be accomplished.
        • Experience in training sales people, franchise consultants or other trainers.
        • Experience managing multiple priorities and deliver on-time results.
        • Ability to understand and have in depth knowledge of profit & loss statements
        • Proficient in Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc)
        • Ability to travel 70%, or over an extended period of time, to locations throughout the U.S. to conduct training and ensure that all company directed programs are fully implemented
