    A private Hearing Healthcare practice in Lawrenceville, NJ is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to manage the front office and represent our practice with professionals.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Handle patient calls and effectively manage schedule
    • Contact patients to confirm appointments.
    • Track and report daily scheduling metrics. 
    • Effectively handle telephone inquiries.
    • Greet patients immediately upon their arrival and provide excellent customer service. Help with patient testing as needed.
    • Maintain patient records in billing/scheduling system and in hard copy.
    • Type correspondence for professionals.
    • Provide back-up billing support.
    • Will be taught how to clean and do minor repair of hearing aids

    Additional Requirements

    • Obtain and enter patient demographic information into EMR systems
    • General clerical duties include but not limited to; scanning charts in EMR system, follow up calls to patients, use of email, phone, computers, and Microsoft Office documents
    • Schedule any necessary follow up appointments into ENT and Audiology EMR
    • Effectively handle multiple incoming telephone lines with ability to answer general questions and schedule appointments for Audiologist
    • Assist audiologist with clerical work and other tasks as necessary upon request


    Position Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred
    • 2 years front office experience
    •  Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs.
    • Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented and organized.

    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Prior medical/healthcare office experience a plus!
    • Independent worker, thinks on their feet.
    • Perform infection control duties within the clinic service areas
    • Participate in continuing education events and other training programs to enhance knowledge and ability to perform job responsibilities
    • Contribute to an ENT-Audiology staff team for joint office productivity goals

    • Organized

    • Strong Phone Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication stills
    • Familiarity with basic medical terminology
    • Ability to establish and maintain a professional rapport with patients and co-workers
