    Full-Time Dispensing Audiologist

    We are a growing private hearing healthcare practice in the Nashville, TN area currently seeking an Audiologist who is driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and able to effectively counsel while building patient rapport. Hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday- Friday. This is a busy practice, seeing mostly adults and some pediatric patients, conducting diagnostic testing as well as fitting/dispensing hearing aids. Organized, time- management skills and detail oriented are a must! Time will be divided in our 2 Nashville locations and occasional travel to our satellite office in Dickson, TN. Must be able to think on your feet, a lot of autonomy is involved with this position. We participate in health fairs and provide services to nursing homes as well.

    Daily tasks and responsibilities

    • Establish rapport with patients and gather history from patients or family members (treating patients of all ages); conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids.
    • Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
    • Follow up care after fitting hearing aids – adjustments, troubleshooting. Educating patients on care of the hearing aids.
    • Maintain updated notes for on-going patient care.
    • Maintain documentation and patient files.
    • Audiograms, VNG, ENG, E-Cogs

    Qualifications

    • Masters’ Degree in Audiology but Au.D. is preferred.
    • Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.

     

    The successful Audiologist will also possess the following:

    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • The ability to work in a team environment
    • The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
    • Good computer skills.
